Hey guys, now that the new album is coming and we decided to move on here for good, I think it's time to make this forum even better, with new sections, new threads (maybe some threads with WM's history, albums, and stuff like that), new look (maybe black just like the old forum) and somebody that can help Andre with the moderation (first of all, ban trolls).
What do you think? Any suggestions?
I've already send a message to Andre on fb, hoping that he I will see that

Good to see people are look toward the new forum. Me n Andre have been in contact with the site owner a fair few times and neither of us get anywhere. I mean the domain keeps expiring every year and I'm thinking of setting an auto email.
I'll get in contact with Andre to see if he's seen your message but please do post suggestions for the forum.
Watch this space.

Hey, yeah we discussed potential changes that we'd like to make, and giamast had some good ideas, but it all hinges upon getting in contact with the owner, Pete. I don't know why he's avoiding us so much, but it's very frustrating not being able to overhaul the website, because it's in dire need of it.

Good to see even jimmy is back! The site situation is very frustrating, I agree, but at least we can do something to "contain the damage" by using this forum in its full potential. Maybe we can still use the site for big news like always, and then link the new forum in it. We can also start spamming the forum on WM's fb page ahahaha  Some people will come at least Another problem are those trolls on the chat box, they really made the situation impossible for the rest of us. It's important to keep an eye on the threads to prevent or delete their messages. |

The main site will still be used for the majority of news posts, as it is the page which gets the most traffic by far. The Facebook page and these forums can then be used for discussion. Just like the old days  With all that said, it looks like we might be able to edit the layout and appearance after all... I will get back in touch with you on Facebook soon, but for now I am off to sleep! |

I would love the facebook page ( The Original Wolfmother Fan Site) to be more active. I wouldn't mind being an admin (or whatever you call it). Post photos, videos, links to interviews, cool drum/guitar covers, the latest material over the internet regarding Wolfmother. We could even share links to interesting threads and posts from this forum. Like this one . It doesn't have to be daily posts but perhaps 2 or 3 a week on Facebook will be cool. |

Well Andre does most of the posting and it's his page really.. You'll see a few from me, normally the quick ones saying 'listen to this' or 'check this out'.. Problem with the updates on the FB is that WM tend to go completely quiet (normally shortly after an album is released).. Absolutely no news or updates or the random promise of a really cool video which never materialises like with Back Round.. This normally is due to label issues as I have been told by the main man himself but yeah it can be difficult to post updates on literally nothing.
Andre does have ultimate authority on this though and I wouldn't personally mind seeing some more people getting involved! There used to be 6 or so moderators and the active admin of Pete but busy lives and lost interest has really brought it down to me n Andre who also run busy lives now.

Can we edit the forum's look so it's more appealing and Wolfmother themed? If you give me the dimensions, I can make a good Victorious-themed banner for the forums, as I showed you guys in the FB page in private chat.

Well what I do is go to YouTube and type "Wolfmother" and then filter it so that you can see all the latest videos from that day or within the last week. You get all sorts of things like interviews, clips, un-released live videos and lots covers from fans. They could be shared on the FB page every now and then. Wait, there's a private chat on FB?

I said it's too bad, I'd love to contribute to the site, give it a facelift and all, and gave him a glimpse of a design idea I had with the Victorious theme. |

Kieran -- yeah, I definitely want to make the Facebook and Twitter pages more active. On Twitter we have a lot of followers, but the Facebook is very small and I'd like for it to grow. I actually have some background in social media, so it's a poor show from me really! Cosmonaut -- I will definitely reach out and ask you for a banner soon. I have some time off between changing jobs next week, so then I can focus on this (as well as other projects I have on the go). Hold on and I'll be in touch shortly.
